Ouch! Temporary Overnight Closures on North McDonough Require Third Round

UPDATE: Due to the ongoing challenges of aged and unmarked infrastructure, last week’s overnight utility relocation work is set to continue. North McDonough Street will again be closed overnight to through traffic between Trinity Place and East Maple Street from Tuesday, May 9, through Friday morning, May 12. Each temporary closure will begin at 11:00pm and end at 6:00am the next day.

Temporary Overnight Closures on North McDonough Return Monday

Our last round of temporary closures encountered some unmarked underground utilities, delaying completion of the work. Accordingly, North McDonough Street will again be closed overnight between Trinity Place and East Maple Street beginning Monday, April 24, and then repeating on Tuesday, April 25. Paving and Grading Continues at Howard and McDonough on Saturday, March 11

The intersection at McDonough and Howard will be closed again on Saturday, March 11 to complete the grading and resurfacing associated with the reconstruction of the railroad crossing. This will allow the pavement to be raised to provide a gentler slope on the north side of the crossing and an accessible path for persons in wheelchairs or those using strollers.
