The impact
The City of Decatur has contracted Blount Construction to repair sidewalks and install 15 new ADA curb ramps on Adams Street from College Avenue to West Hill Street. Weather permitting, work is anticipated to begin on Monday, June 11, 2018 and should be completed by the end of June.
How to manage
Sidewalks will remain open, except where work is presently taking place. Please relocate on-street vehicles in the areas being repaired so that sidewalk access is unimpeded. Vehicles impacting work areas run the risk of potential damage.
Vehicular traffic in the area will not be affected.
