A new sidewalk planned for Shadowmoor Drive and Hilldale Drive is set to improve neighborhood pedestrian connectivity between Winnona Park Elementary School, Talley Street Upper Elementary School and soon, Legacy Park.
Final plans are scheduled to come before the City Commission at their regular meeting on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 7:30 pm.
Initial public input was received during a February 2020 workshop, resulting in a concept layout approved by the City Commission in August 2020.
The now completed final design (available for review here) is consistent with the concept layout, and reflects additional resident input that supported protection of pedestrians in a manner that minimizes impacts to trees, yards, and on-street parking.
