The details
Beginning Wednesday, November 9, North Candler Street will be closed to through vehicular traffic for several weeks while Astra Grading and Pipe installs new storm drainage pipes.
The impact
This will require East Howard Avenue to be closed to westbound traffic at North Candler Street. North Candler south of Pate Street will be open to two-way traffic temporarily while the new drainage system is being installed. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout.
How to manage
Commerce Drive, Sycamore Street, Church Street, and East Trinity Place, together, will provide a workable detour and access to all addresses. Please study the attached detour maps as your traffic patterns may be affected by construction. Detour signs will be posted throughout the affected area. The work is expected to take 4-6 weeks.
