Fire Hydrant to Require Temporary Lane Closure at the ARLO

Beginning the morning of Tuesday, January 10, one eastbound lane (heading out of town) on East Trinity Place between Church Street and East Howard Avenue will be closed to allow for installation of a new fire hydrant at the ARLO.

The work will take place between 9 am and 3 pm each day and should be completed by January 17. Two way traffic will be maintained at all times along East Trinity Place.

Because the project involves installing a new valve on the water line which feeds the hydrant, all work requires coordination with and assistance from DeKalb County’s Watershed Management Department (DWM). Given the DWM is not available Friday thru Sunday except for emergencies, weekday installation is necessary. To minimize impacts, the work has been scheduled to avoid morning and afternoon rush hours.
